CD Reviews

Dear Ya'll Volume II
M. Gaines | Alabama, United States | 07/29/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Playin Around continues an attempt to revitalise the Hinton recordings to the general public at large. Each track is a structure of pure soul that leaves one wondering "what if". The bonus live recordings from the 90's are worth the price of admission to those Hinton-holic's who simply can't get enough of his gigantic contribution to a lost period of American music in it's finest moments.

Shame on you if your record/cd collection lacks any of Eddie Hinton's music, your all the poorer for it.
