Excellent

"This album is Higgins at his best (but then, when isn't he?), more than a little melancholy, and always with his unique take on both familiar and slightly less familiar melodies. He's simply one of the best jazz pianists around (and has excellent accompaniment). I've never been disappointed in any of his recordings, and this one is no exception."
Great to play for company or to listen critically to

"Eddie sold me a copy of this disc at the Montreal Bistro in Toronto, a centre-of-the-universe jazz club, saying that it was his favourite of the ones he recorded. Good advice, because it can be played repeatedly for company, or critically. The variety of musical genres helps; Danny Boy is an excellent, unique, haunting rendering. Highly recommended."
