"This was a session Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson recorded for ABC's Bluesway label in 1967. Bob Theile was the producer and the personel includes Vinson on Vocals and Sax, Patti Bown (formerly of the Quincy Jones Orchestra) on Keyboards, Buddy Lucas on harmonica and sax, and Bloomfield (then with the Butterfield Blues Band) on Guitar. The bassist and drummer are not named. All the featured names are given plenty of solo space on a setlist that consists mainly of Cleanhead's regular repetoire (the title cut, Juice Head Baby, Alimony Blues). Bloomfield plays with a clean un-distorted tone but is integral to all the songs, and Cleanhead is in especially fine voice. This is a fine addition to any fan on quality Jump-Blues, Rhythm and Blues or Swing oriented Jazz."
