"Eat Static, formed in the very early 90s, sprang from, believe it or not, Ozric Tentacles. And this double CD showcases their first material. It's a full-on techno assault and is a great introduction to the band who have put out a slew of releases, the last few or so on their own MesmoBeat label. This is straight-ahead old school techno, but done up really tasty--the way it should be. The beats are tremendously infectious. If you want to dance the whole day away, here's the best way to do it, folks. Trippy, trancey, dancey--techno to the max!!"
Another not well known gem

"This double CD contains 2 hours of what I would call "jazz techno". The whole album follows the same high speed pattern, not one out of place or bad song, and a few danceable songs. Best played when doing housework. There is fancy drum machine programming through-out every track. My favorite track on this album is "Almost Human"."
