"I didn't pay much attention to the music when I saw the movie, but recently I heard Ishwar-Allah and was instantly moved by the song. Its one of the best songs I have ever heard. I have heard this song more than 20 times since yesterday and everytime I hear it, I like it even more. Anyways, that song made me listen to all the other songs and I liked Dheemi Dheemi, Ye jo jindagi hai and rut aa gayee re. Rut aa gayee re is another one that I love. Worth buying."
Deeply moving and sincere

"One of the best soundtracks I've ever heard! Each of the pieces has its own unique style, crystalizing a particular emotion or idea. Some are fun and upbeat, others more somber, but the quality of the sound and the voices is par excellence. None of that maudlin, screechy, overblown stuff most Indian music is infamous for. 'Ishwar Allah' is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard. Deeply spiritual and eloquent, it resonates for a long time and becomes more meaningful with every encounter. Highly recommended!"
Great music & Lyrics.

"This is a great soundtrack added to a great movie! The songs are composed by A.R. Rehman (or is it Rahman, I dunno!) and if anybody has been exposed to his previous work, they know how 'earth'-shattering this music will be. Rehman is God, when it comes to music. The flavour of the music is strictly Indian, but ultra-original and a very unique sound which one instantly can recognise as Rehman's. Total EAR-Candy!"
