"E Nomine is taken from an album called "Das Testament". Catholic Prayers and imagery set to distinctively Germanic Techno that incorporates choral chants. Nothing is lost on the fact that it is in German (which I barely understand). This track opens where Pilate asks: "And are you the son of God?" and follows Easter Sunday through to "They no not what they do" (which is the title). Though the words are respectfully catholic, there is something raw and dark about the presentation that provokes thought. It is an incredible track from an incredible album. I can't decide whether it is a work of devotion, or heresy, or both..... Beware of tasting the single...you may be siezed with an irresistable compulsion to track down the album or die trying."
