"this is what i have been waiting for from E-40! He still the front runner for the Bay and i love it. Theres everything in the Day Shift...bangers, slappers and slumpers all of the above. I highly recommend this CD...shoot i recommend both of the CD's. Personally i like the night shift better but either one you will not be disappointed with."

"I had the Ball Street Journal on repeat since last year and couldn't wait for the new E-40 album to drop. I was even more surprised when I heard it was going to be a double release; twice as many new songs to listen to. I was not disappointed.
E-40's done it again with this two album release. If you liked "The Ball Street Journal" then there is no reason you won't like these two albums. E-40's still got that quality west-coast sound and makes liberal use of the lows, the latter being something I am particularly fond of 40 Water for. So get yourself a set of subs and have a good listen to these discs. Support your favorite bay area artist by BUYING this album, not downloading."

"This is the fire the west need to be back in the game, Lyrics and real life punch lines that make you think twice. The beat are fast because his flow is perfected to sickness level I love not buying a bootleg copy of this one for show"
Great album...both of them.

"As always E-40 represenents his unique style that has helped make Bay Area Hip-Hop known and respected throughout the country. There is a decent mix of floor fillers, club music, hard and softer tracks. Download/buy, you won't be dissappointed."

"Back In Business starts things off with a nice Ganster Rap intro to get you into things. Then you get into Bitch one of my favoirte new songs featuring Too Short. You have to hear this song to belive it. Later on another favorite of mine is here to enjoy I Get Down featuring B-Legit. All in all this is a very hard hitting CD. Make sure to put the volume up and there is no need to do anything but just press play. Also make sure to continue the 40iness by picking up Revenue Retrievin: Night Shift."
