Album Description
2009 album from Kevin McGinnis (AKA Drug Models Love). Slow Hope Parade was written and realized in New York over the course of a nine-month period between and during blackouts, benders, moments of bliss, philosophical isolation and spiritual derailment by McGinnis (formally of Ursula Points and Dopo Yume). Recorded in the bosom of Queens and mixed in the belly of Brooklyn, ninety-five percent of SHP was recorded in a single take - straight thru, with only limited punch-ins and editing. The entirety of the gear used in the recording amounted to a drum machine, m-box, laptop PC, acoustic guitar, one microphone, Kurzweil keyboard and a cello.
