The Creative Mind System CD uses breakthrough audio processes which stimulate the Creative Mind Pattern in your own brainwaves, which brings you to a natural state of heightened creativity. These powerful recording processes have been developed by Dr. Jeffrey Thompson during 15 years of clinical research with thousands of patients, including artists, scientists, and creative people in all walks of life. These are the same techniques which Dr. Thompson has used with senior executives in Fortune 500 Companies to help them face the creative challenges of the business world. Dr. Thompson?s recordings work by blending inaudible pulses of sound that mirror the Creative Mind Pattern into an ambient musical soundtrack. As you listen, your own brainwaves begin to reflect this same powerful brainwave pattern, drawing you easily into new dimensions of creativity, out-of-the-box problem solving, and spontaneous artistic expression. Simply play this program in the background while working, brainstorming, or enjoying any creative or artistic endeavor and experience the flow of new creative energies, insights, and inspirations. After some time of regular listening your brain will be "trained" to more easily access your deepest creative capacities and abilities wherever and whenever you need them.« less

"I've a creativity-demanding job where I must design and implement artificial neural networks. I was seduced by the idea of improving my brain-wave patterns because I've been studying the inner workings of the brain for more than 3 years due my undergraduate thesis about Computational Neuroscience. I agree that the brain mimics all the types of waves that come from reality: light waves, sounds, propioception, body cycles, etc. We live 2 realities: the real reality and the virtual reality created by our brains. I believe that a specific and proved pattern of sounds can synchronize the firings of our neurons and can even fix some malformed brain-wave patterns.
The music is cool to hear over and over again - the treatment demands it. I think it has made me more creative because I've solved many mathematical problems in my work since I started to use it.
But don't transform the tracks into MP3 files because the MP3 format removes the inaudible waves in the ranges (0,20) and (20000,44000] Hz that the CD format has. Those inaudible waves are supposed to do most of the work."
Favorite for Painting

"As both a professional artist and teacher of painting, this CD is extremely useful. I use it in my classes as lovely background music and students always ask me about it. I can play it every week and it never sounds the same. One week I did a sumi-e demonstration and students thought it sounded Asian.
In my own work, it is uplifting and non-intrusive, helping me get into the creative "zone" when I paint. The music is reminiscent of George Winston at times. The brainwave sound frequencies are inaudible, but they definitely work. This is my FAVORITE Dr. Jeffrey Thompson CD and a treasured ally in my creative journey."
Creatively sleepy

"I would rate myself as a fairly creative person ... I took Art, Phography and Psychology classes back in college. After reading the first review, I was tempted to find out whether this cd would have a noticeable impact on my creativity. My first reaction after a few minutes of listening to this CD from a CD player was...goodness, I am sleepy. Then I played it in the car while my friend was driving us somewhere during the day ... and we both yawned after a few minutes. Now I am listening to it with my PC and yes...I am getting sleepy. I bought this CD hoping it would help me with concentration and creativity at work (as claimed that it was working in some fortune 500 companies), but it does not quite measure up to it. However, I give it a 4 star for being innovative and pleasant. But I would keep it for bed time background white noise instead of waiting for my brain to be filled with creative burst during the day."
A modern day Mozart

"I have studied piano since I was six and do some composing myself.
Dr. Thompson is an innovative in his time as Mozart was in the 1800s.
They say Mozart music balances the brain beautifully. Well this will
do it as well....with a bunch of built-in scientifically balanced
systems that simply guarantee the right mode for what you plan to do.
Apparently these pieces concentrate on the Theta waves...the ones that
we normally have during the deep dream state....where our visions are
so brilliant....but now you can have that while awake! The music is
simply beautiful...even if it didn't do so much for your creativity.
This is a Win/Win composition. Enjoy it. You'll never regret purchasing
such a symphony of the heart/mind/soul.

This Might Actually Work

"I just listened to this CD yesterday for the frist time while doing some writing on my laptop. My first impression was that it was just garden-variety new age music, but I did notice that I had a higher-than-average level of concentration while writing. But here's the kicker: last night I had an incredibly vivid dream full of Jungian symbols and I think this CD might have had something to do with it. I'm going to keep on listening and maybe buy a few of the others."
