Vintage yet modern. The new DownTown Mystic CD continues the artist's unique style of combining classic rock influences with his own modern taste, and comes out sounding as contemporary as anything currently available. The Americana/Roots Rocker's influences are all on display on the new CD, ranging from Mumford & Sons to Tom Petty, to The Beatles, Stones, CCR and Buffalo Springfield. 3 digital singles have already been released since April to build up to the release of the full cd, including the latest, Way To Know, featuring Garry Tallent and Max Weinberg of The E Street Band. Also on hand helping to make the CD rock are Steve Holley and Paul Page, the rhythm section from Ian Hunter's Rant Band. The new self-titled DownTown Mystic CD is the follow-up to the 2011 critically acclaimed Standing Still release. That release put DownTown Mystic on the map at Americana, garnering radio play in the US and Europe and landing DownTown Mystic a European Licensing Deal.
