"This song is a testimony to me in itself. When I finally just sit down and listened to the words, and received the true message I began to shout, then cry, and shout again. If you know that your Soul is really Anchored in the Lord, then you can do all things through Christ, which strengthens you. "Though the storms keep on raging in my life, and sometimes it's hard to tell the night from day, still that hope that lies within is reassured, as I keep my eyes upon that distant shore I know He'll lead mt safely to that blesses place He has prepared, but if the storms don't cease, and if the winds keeps on blowing my soul has been anchored in the Lord!" THATS ENOUGH TO MAKE ME SHOUT RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW... YOU BETTER GET SERIOUS ABOUT THIS THANG..JESUS IS REAL!!!! AND TIME IS WINDING UP... MAKE SURE YOUR SOUL IS ANCHORED IN THE LORD AT ALL TIMES!!!!"

"Now back in the 80's I can remember when this album first came out. On our way to church the DJ played "Unspeakable Joy", and we almost had to pull over because of the presence of God filling our souls. "Give Him The Praise" has such a funky groove to it, but the call to give Jesus the praise will have u lift your hands in submission to the Lord. "Glad That He Lifted Me" will make u pat your feet and get up and dance before Him. "My Soul Is Anchored is ont of the most "covered" songs in gospel concerts and "afternoon" services that I almost got weary of hearing it. But once you met Jesus you can identify with the singer. I recommend this cd to all gospel music lovers. I appreciate the older stuff."
