"This is not Dot Allison's fault--every artist should follow their muse where it takes them--but I was hoping for more "You Can Be Replaced" and less of the clingy folk pop found on this disk. There was not a single decent trip-hop rhythm on the entire disk. Her voice is less wired for these intimate settings, which I found weak. Even so, Dot is still a vital artist I will continue to follow--I just hope she rocks a little more on her next effort."
