Psalm 23 - Worth a closer look!

"Donnie McClurkin's sermon "The Valley of God" has opened my eyes to the true message(s) to be found in Psalm 23. I recently suffered the death of a loved one, and my very wise husband reminded me that while Psalm 23 refers to walking THROUGH the valley of the Shadow of Death, we're not expected to take up residence there. It was fascinating. Like many of you, I had learned the whole chapter as a child but the words meant little to me. I had never "pondered them in my heart". Over and over the Lord kept reinforcing that thought, and then one night I heard Donnie McClurkin do a summary of the sermon on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network). I wrote pages of notes, only to hear that there was a sermon available for sale. I bought the CD/DVD combo on www.amazon.com and was amazed that verse 4 (the valley of the shadow of death) was not the only one I needed to be looking at with new eyes. The entire chapter is relevant to our everyday lives and deserves to be studied. This sermon will take you through each verse.

This sermon is enlightening and anointed and I encourage EVERYONE who has learnt this Psalm as a child to purchase the CD/DVD and let it encourage you."
