CD ReviewsBlessed Be A. Bennett | New Hampsha | 03/27/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "Being a super huge Madonna fan I've known about Donna De Lory for a long while. When I was in high school I bought her first album (on major label MCA) and was pleased with the adult-pop sound. Now, as an adult I'm really feeling what Donna's lastest offerings give me. "In The Glow" is one of the most amazing album I've ever owned. The peace and joy I get when I hear this music stuns me to this day...sounds silly but it's all very true. Definately check out the rest of Donnna's catalog!" In The Glow Leonardo A. De Witte | SJC, CA | 08/25/2006 (3 out of 5 stars) "I first heard Donna Delory's song "In the Sun" on a college radio station that plays New Age/World Music. Apparently, the radio station took this piece from a compilation disc of women singers of this genre. I was so enthralled by this song that I searched it out in Amazon.com and found the original album from which it was taken, "In the Glow". The CD in general is mediocre, though, Donna does have a nice soothing voice. But, there is the standout piece, "In the Sun", for which I basically bought the CD. It is a quasi-spiritual lamentation of a lost lover with superb instrumental accompaniment. It's unfortunate the rest of the album does not measure up." Transcends All K. Cressler | Ojai, CA United States | 08/04/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "I was blessed with seeing Donna live before I ever heard one of her CDs and wow, what a voice and what a performance! Her voice can stir the very depths of your soul, she sang so beautifully I nearly cried. She sang a range of songs and chants and this is perfect music for a quiet Sunday morning or a peaceful evening at home with a good book. I play it in my office when it gets hectic and find myself humming "Glow" hours later all while feeling peacefully collected. This album is much recommended!"
