Very good work from an Art Blakey Alumnus

"This CD is primarily a collection of up-tempo pieces with Mr. Harrison blowing some tight sax and overall excellent support from the other musicians. I think it is well worth having and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I save those for truly exceptional jazz classics (Blues & the Abstract Truth, Kind of Blue, Saxaphone Colossus, etc). If you like swing, this is worth having."

"My ear is the final judge, and New Hope from Mr. Harrison is simply amazing! The entire album takes me from one mood to the next. Happy, sad, and romantic. This cd is for anyone not afraid to be smooth!"
Great Jazz with some extensions of hiphop and dancehall

"Great CD! Jazz fans across the world would enjoy this album. Donald Harrison plays the sax like no other. Songs like nouveau swing, south side people and septembro are reasons enough to purchase this CD. Harrison is better live than on CD because it's a show in itself. Greeeeat Jazz!!!"
