"I`m ashamed to say I had forgotten about Don Edwards until I ran across his name here on Amazon. I`m originally from north texas and use to see Don perform occasionally in Ft.Worth at the white elephant saloon and sometimes at the Mayfest but somehow I never came to own any of his recordings.Well,after listening to this CD I cant believe I ever forgot him! He sounds as good as I remember him back in Texas! Incidentally I used to see Delbert Mclinton back in Ft.Worth,another great texas artist not to be overlooked!"

"This is so far away from the current garbage spewing out of so-called country (the western was dropped long ago) artists that for that alone it would rate a listen. As it is, this is great, haunting, lovely, lonely music. Don Edwards is great, and this is true country western cowboy music."

"This CD is certainly worth having if you have any love for cowboys. It is genuine art, not the Nashville/Hollywood thing. "Coyotes" almost moved me to tears. PG for language."
