"Domingo is a producer from east NY that has crafted bangers for your favorite east coast emcees but gets no shine for whatever reason. On this release, the aptly titled The Most Underrated, Domingo provides vintage east coast boom bap for legends, vets, and necomers alike to get busy on. The results do vary, but the production end is solid. Names like Big Daddy Kane, Ras Kass, Canibus, Kool G. Rap,The Beatnuts, Tonedeff, Slug, Immortal Technique, Non Phixion, and Brother Ali show up to bless the tracks lovely. The end result is forty six minutes of dope hip hop music that's full of the grimy, boom bap sound reminiscent of '95.

Despite all of the dopeness, there are a few stinkers on the album. "Major Game" features the ever declining Guru, or "Gu Rizzy" as he called himself, rapping about pimpin' and dough. Go figure. Also, "Next Dose" suffers from repetitive production -- but Rugged Intellect and Ras Kass hold it down lyrically. That's basically what plagues the album the most -- some of the production is repetitive. But the overall product is good and there are no wack tracks.

The Most Underrated is a solid release even if it has its moments where it can be rather uneven. You don't get this kind of throwback production style very often. It's not necessarily required listening, but it's dope enough to warrant a purchase. I recommend checking this one out.
