"Domingo is a well-known underground East New York hip-hop producer, who gets much respect from all sides of the hip-hop world. He has written most of the beats on this compilation album. It features tracks from some of the most famous names in hip-hop--KRS1, Ras Kass, and the latest white rhymin' sensation, Eminem (Slim Shady--my name is, my name is!). These give the album the rap version of the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval, but the real delights lie in seeing just how good some of the other cats are that you never heard of. Major rap stations for the most part don't play this stuff, except after midnight. which is everyone's loss, but that's another story, right?Anyway, the guy that really blew me away on this joint is Bamboo. There's a _reason_ he leads off this album. No designer clothes or cars referenced; just pure East-Coast-style dense wordplay.Save yourself some money, cuz Bamboo's single also is on this album ("From the Get Up"), so you don't have to buy it later. "From the Get Up" is already starting to get New York airplay on Hot97, and heavy club play also.Check it out!Denton"
