CD Reviews

Truely amazing!

"As this album starts out, it sounds like you just fell down the rabbit hole of a twisted Alice in Wonderland experience. This is Dog Fashion Disco's first memorable album, because all the members at the time and the production (for being independent) are top notch! Creativily, this album got the ball rolling in Dog Fashion Disco's blend of jazz, metal, and such, with some stellar tracks: Siamese Fever, 9 to 5 at the Morgue, The Satanic Cowboy, and God Crisis. I would recommend this album to anyone, who likes good rock'n'roll with a twist of dementia. There is actually ten tracks to this album, "Corpse is a Corpse" is inbetween 9-5 and Pervert. That song will get you pumped, and the album is amazing!"
Amazing

"If you want to get into Dog Fashion Disco, this is a great place to start. Everything on this album works, fromt he sound, to the way it was mixed, to the ambient feeling you get while listening. It features tracks that would appear on later releases (This was originally one of DFD's CD's they sold at shows, this is a re-released copy) but are different recordings. The quality is spot on as well. The few tracks that didn't appear on later albums are simply outstanding. Siamese Fever is a great opener, and the last two tracks do the album justice.

On the flip side, if you own all of DFD's major releases, and you haven't gotton your fill, this is a great purchase. You'll hear their earlier recordings and how they developed their distinct sound, as well as get some extra tracks. At the time of this review Amazon is selling it for like...10 bucks, this is a great buy. You won't be dissapointed."
