"In a period of music where sex sells more than actual talent, and bands such as Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys rule the airwaves, I look back a good two years to albums like this one for hope. Dogs Eye View, especially in this CD, are a testament to the lack of appreciation of real music, judging by what is now on the market. This is one of the best from the mid-ninties, a time I'll always think of as rich with talent and astetically pleasing sounds - as evidenced by such bands as: Counting Crows, Dave Matthews Band, Refreshments, and Gin Blossoms. Hope the next DEV is as good as this one. Get it: You won't be dissapointed."
