CD Reviews

The Most Underrated
Killa Kancer | 07/11/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Pimpin Ain't Dead by Do Or Die is the most underrated album of 2003. These guys definitely put it down. Since the day I purchased it, I cannot stop listening to "Do U?" and "Fantasy". Somebody get these guys a better record deal so they can get a video out. Why doesn't Twista show his family some love? Pimpin Ain't Dead is an album that you can play from beggining to end and not be disappointed."
Not Bad, could be better

"As most of you know, Do Or Die is a great group from ChiTown, and have come out with many great albums since the early 90's. If you have yet to listen to them, do it now! They're the kings of pimp, in my opinion. Their first three albums (Picture This, Headz Or Tailz and Victory) are all classics. Do Or Die came out with Back 2 The Game, about a year or two ago, and I could tell they were starting to fall off. It was a great album, however, this one is great too, but just doesn't match the other ones. Ya'll know how that is, sometimes rappers try to make their new albums sound like old ones but fail. They should've just started from scratch, but hey who am I to judge? If you're a Do Or Die fan, cop this album, it's worth it, but if you're new to Do Or Die, cop the other ones first, starting with Picture This. Peace!"
Pimpin Ain't Dead...and neither is Do or Die

"This is the first Do or Die album I ever listened to. They have a somewhat Bone Thugs sound to their music. The best songs on the album are the more laid back tunes. They are great to smoke & ride to. The standout track on the album is "Do U" (ft. Twista). Other good cuts are: One More Way to Die, Fantasy, Ghetto Boy(my favorite), Bomb on Contact, Not 4 U, and Cold World. If you don't have this CD, pick it up. You won't be disappointed."
