"This Cd is the shiznut. This is Do or Die's explosive debut album and they rip it up with some hardcore Chicago raps throughout the whole disc. On every track Do or Die just kills & tears the roof off the joint. The most blazin tracks on this Cd are "Po' Pimp","Paper Chase","Playa Like You and Me","6 Million","Search Warrant" and "Money Flow". Do or Die are the masters of Chicago Rhyme Slingin' and Mackin'. They have the Lowest and Deepest Basslines ever to be recorded on a rap record."

"Chicago freshmen, Do Or Die, debut album Picture This is a glimpse of the slow movement tracks with the rapid fire delivery that is accustom to Chi's other artists. Eight of the eleven tracks were produced by The Legendary Traxster which brought the best out of the trio. The beginning and the end or "Alpha And Omega" is a slow gangster groove to begin this LP off and sets the pace for the entire album. On "Shut 'Em Down", it if filled with high paced, intense highs to offset the slow tempo of the track for more dimension. To get a closer look of their lives they ask "...Do you wanna ride in the backseat of a Caddy and chop it up with Do Or Die?" on "Po Pimp" featuring Tung Twista & Johnny P. They take it back to the streets with gun slinging on "Kill Or Be Killed" featuring Psycho Drama. For a more commercial feel and keeping the same tempo as the rest, "Paperchase" featuring Tung Twista fits well with the formula as did "Money Flow" with the "Computer Love" sample. D.O.D. takes us back on a ride as they take a smoke on "Playa Like Me And You" featuring Johnny P. "Promise" is a tale of a point blank murder and how it's done. Speeding up only slightly on tempos, "6 Million" is only one example of a way to die. They also talk about a raid without a "Search Warrant" and how they got out of a jam. Belo, Nard and AK-47 have a good flow for your interest, especially if you're into Twista, Crucial Conflict, Psycho Drama and Triple Darkness. This album almost fail because of diversity, this is only rider music with slight variations. The whole ride of Picture This is in the backseat of the Cadillac."
Do or Die's Best CD

"This is their first and their best CD. This is the old style Do or Die. Not today's Do or Die. I have much respect for Do or Die's D.O.D but Picture this is by far the best CD. Theres songs that talks about real life on the streets and how life is with out growing up with a father. Po Pimp, Paper Chase and 10 million are my favorite tracks out of all the best hard core beat tracks. Buy This CD. If this cd was worth the same as runnin of the mouth i would buy it."
Do Or Die's first album

"Do Or Die's debut album shows that on some albums production alone can carry out an album. This album is considered a Midwest classic. To me three are the things that stand out - First - Traxter produced almost all of the album and his beats are untouchable, there isn't even one beat that's not (at least) good! The beats are smooth, with VERY thick, hard-hitting bass-lines. Second - The true star on this album is the one and only Twista. He's featured on 3 songs, and he completely steals the show on every single song he's on. You just wait for Twista's verse to come, so you can once again be amazed by his delivery, lyrics and of course flow and charisma... Three - Johnny P's hooks. I talked about the 3 things that trully make that album so special, yet without saying a word about the group itself. Well, Do Or Die are a nice group, with harmonic delivery, but there's nothing really special or original about them (at least on this album). They just fail to have something unique, that will deffer them from similiar (yet much better) rappers from the same are. D.O.D lack Twista's amazing flow and charisma, and they lack Bone Thug's lyrics and singing abilities. Don't get me wrong, they're all right, even come out pretty good on some songs, but nothing more. Yet this is still their FIRST album, they were young at the time and still hadn't found their own "path", if you can say that... Their verses are allright, but nothing to really think about, or remember of, after listening to the songs. Overall, it's a very solid and consistent album, especially because of the production and Twista (many people heard Twista for the 1st time on "Picture This" and he released his successful album "Adrenaline Rush" an year later). You won't be dissapointed."
