"The Chicago trio of A.K., N.A.R.D. and Belo collectively known as Do Or Die return with their sixth album "D.O.D." (2005). The energetic "Right Here" kicks the album off well. The albums first real standout for me is the lead single "Higher", Do Or Die enlisted the help of Kayne West and ended up with a very memorable collaboration. Kayne West returns for "Paid the Price" another smooth cut. My current favorite is the laidback love ballad "If Only You Knew", a track that has first class appearances from Twista and R & B singer Syleena Johnson. I continue to be impressed time after time by Syleena Johnson who has laced a lot of Rappers with memorable choruses over the years. Do Or Die and Johnny P deliver another track for the ladies with "Holla At Your Boy". Another standout has Do Or Die hooking up with Ric Dilla and Johnny P for the impressive "Be Alright". Do Or Die raises the tempo up for a banger called "Getcha Weight Up". Another track I like is "For My N*****" feat. Traxster, a cut about staying up and remembering those who have died. Shawnna makes an appearance on the "Higher" (Remix) repping Chicago. The three skits and a number of other tracks (IE U Already Know, Magic Chick, Nawty) fall under skip material for me and bring the album down a bit. What really carried this album over for me were the collaborations with Do Or Die's fellow Chi-town artists Kayne West, Syleena Johnson and Twista who all delivered strong guest appearances. I recommend this album to fans of the group. 3.5."

"I've always been down to listen to midwest hip hop. esspecially do or die and twista. All their work is great. Kamikazee was the sound for last summer. Just like this new do or die album will be the sound for this summer. You could play this album front to back and it just gets better each time. I gotta cool off of it before I get sick of it cause I know once the weather warms up the radio is gonna spin this cd a lot and make the ladies go crazy. big ups to do or die, this is the best hip album I've heard in years. Go buy this album, you will love it!"

"They are back with their fast flow and all, but nothing like Pimpin Ain't Dead.
Some songs on here are dead, but some are tight. I'd buy this album anyways if you have liked DOD in the past!"

"This obivously isn't there best peice of work, but it still is pretty good and better then half of the rap that is out there today. "For My Ni**as" is my favorite song, as well as a lot of others. They even hooked up with the likes of DJ Quik, Kanye West, and some others, but the biggest suprise was NO COLLAB WITH TWISTA. Twista and Do or Die, go together like P's and carrots, that was my biggest complaint about the cd, but never-the-less this is a good cd for any Do or Die fan, or rap fan."
