"As a musician I must say this is absolutely SUPERB!

The camera angles & cinematography.... will blow you away!

The sound though.... "IS AWESOME", especially if you have a great sound system.



I've been a long time fan of Djavan for over 20 years, this is a KILLER CONCERT DVD. He's been often referred to as the

"Stevie Wonder of Brasil"...... perhaps so as far as popularity and being dearly loved by masses not just in Brasil, but around the world..... however Djavan IS UNIQUE unto himself."

An unexpected find

"I came upon the music of Djavan looking for a misplaced CD in the library where I work. I found it, checked it out, and was entranced by his music. I do wish I could understand Portuguese, but, no matter, the music transcends language.



So, I then decided to purchase this dvd...I don't buy much, since I only want to own what I will watch again and again. This meets my criteria! The music is lyric, the artist engaging (you can see that in his relationship with his audiences).



I must qualify this review by saying that I am not at all qualified to evaluate jazz, or music videos. Having said that, I think that this is one of the best purchases I have ever made.



The artist is incredibly talented, the music wonderful and beautiful in any language. If you want talent, beautiful music, and a great listen, this is a worthwhile choice!
