A great collection for a great price

"I had hoped these CD's would be as good a collection as they are a
bargain. They certainly are. The title may be an overstatement, as
there are some missing gems, to be sure. (My only reason for 4
instead of 5 stars.) Everyone knows how amazing Reinhardt's guitar
work is, so I'll not add to that. The collection, however, is giving
me a new appreciation of Grappelli's work. Both musicians' talents
are clear on listening to these tunes. Recording quality is very
good, given the nearly 70 year old technology. A listing of personnel
performing on each track is an added bonus. This is a good collection
of his '34 to '39 work for an excellent price.
