This New York quintet's sole album is a neglected pop-psych treasure. Boasting catchy melodies, lush vocal harmonies, killer pop hooks and one of the best Beatles covers of its time, it was originally issued in 1970 but quickly disappeared, despite the band's frenetic gigging schedule. It makes its CD debut here, complete with its original press release and is a must for fans of acid-tinged power pop.

"It is a great happening that, Disciple-"Come and See Us as We Are" album have been reissued on CD.

The song writing and musicianship on these tracks are a perfect link between the end of the psychedelic 60's and the beginning of the arena rock 70's.

As well, Sandy's powerful vocals wrap this package of tunes up in a powerfully cohesive bow.

Listening to Disciple-"Come See Us as We Are" I was taken to a moment in rock that now has a soundtrack for its history."
