CD ReviewsLooks like the awesome Why 12" + 1 or 2 of the 7"s Chris bct | San Diego, CA USA | 01/14/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "Ok, I admit it, I don't have this exact CD. And I'm too lazy to go thru my records and pull out the 12" and the 7"s and see which songs are on what so I can say what's on this CD. It's pretty clear that it's, definitely the unbelievable Why 12" which, by itself, I'd call, quite possibly, the finest hardcore punk rock 12" record of all time. It looks like, from the songs that they added 1 or 2 7"s, which were pre this Why 12". All those (5?) 7" records were great, classic Discharge. The Society's Victims box set, which I did get only has like 90% of each record. So, if this has 'em all from the 3 or so records on this, well, that's a good thing eh? You can see why so many (mainly Swedish) punk bands did a 'dis' cover sound. Eminently listenable and honored by 'dis' bands (DISGUST, etc). There's no metal on this CD. That's, of course, a good thing. This is the finest UK hardcore punk rock. chrisbct@hotmail.com" PRIMER FOR PROTEST! Anti Social | 12/22/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "A true anti-establishment social protest! Play it often and play it loud!" Essential to anyone (unless you're a redneck) J Mantyla | Anchorage, AK USA | 03/01/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "This was the first Discharge CD I got. The music is simple, yet catchy. But the most important part of the CD is the lyrics! They may be only three to four lines of words, but they are so brutal and graphic (mainly about being killed in war). So I reccomend listening to all Discharge with the lyrics booklet at hand. In addition to this CD, also pick up: Hear Nothing, See Nothing, Say Nothing. Once you've got these two CD's, you don't really need to really worry about getting their other stuff, because these two albums are the real deal."
