**Delicious** again, again, and again...

"I bought the US version on impulse in 1998. Now, in 2000, Toxu still gets more air time in our home than any other recording we own. His mesmerizing blend of rich, subtle, layered rhythms, a few familiar tunes, and some unfamiliar language gently pulses into your awareness. Soon you are contentedly floating on the most amazing balance of mellow & alive, soothing & stirring, known & unknown. It's the perfect mood for those mornings when you can putter around leisurely, just enjoying the day. You're very lucky to have found this superb work. It really is a jewel."

"I enjoyed No Sant until I listened to TOXU this is even better than the first.,, I feel as if I'm listening to world music. The incorporation of different sounds and languages is quite unique.. I cannot compare his style to any other. This music could truly calm a raging beast. I also enjoyed knowing that Wasis included his family in the making of this masterpiece."
Bought it Twice

"Wasis Diop's Toxu is simply intoxicating with his sensual voice and rhythms. The African influence make these songs timeless, while the production and variety of song styles make this a modern-day masterpiece. I loved it, and some how lost it. Now, I miss it dearly and must purchase it a second time!"
