Happy, Uplifting & just plan ol'e fun music!!

"First off I have to say this is not the usual music I listen to. After all I grew up on Van Halen & the Rolling Stones. However I have grown to really enjoy & have fun with this ole style grass roots music. I even have my favorites "The Farmers Daughter" & "When I Die" It's not your conventional pop music but I strongly suggest you give a chance. You might find you love it & open a whole new world of (old world) music."

"On my last trip to Portland, a friend MADE me sit down and listen to an entire Dickel Brothers record. While I think it is amazing and important music, what must be more impressive is to see it played live. This is important American music, but it is also great fun to listen to, and to see played. Get the album. But if they ever play live anywhere near you, then force YOUR friends to go see them....."
