Synopsis

Album Description
Florida?s DIABOLIC return with a revamped lineup and a new lease on death! In the two years since the release of Vengeance Ascending the band underwent a drastic lineup change that saw three original members leave the fold. The result of this tumultuous period in the band?s history can be heard on their new album Infinity Through Purification. Without doubt this is the most evolved and devastatingly brutal DIABOLIC record yet, with complex song structures and blistering tempos that easily put the band in the same league as some of the most established bands in the extreme death metal scene. Recorded this past July with Grammy award winning producer Neil Kernon (Judas Priest, Queensryche, Cannibal Corpse) at Sonic Ranch studios in Tornillo, Texas. Infinity Through Purification perfectly captures the hatred and utter contempt the band feels towards those that pose and stand in their way. -Fourth full-length release from one of the leading extreme death metal bands in the world! -Produced by Grammy award winning producer Neil Kernon (Skinless, Exhumed, Cannibal Corpse, etc.). -Mastered at the world famous Morrisound Studios. -An absolute must for death metal fans that like their death metal fast and blistering ala Nile, Krisiun, Morbid Angel, Hate Eternal, Angel Corpse and the like. -DIABOLIC have played hundreds of shows with the likes of Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Hate Eternal, Behemoth, Destroyer 666, Dying Fetus and tons more.

CD Reviews

A new beginning??

"Not really, seeing as though they broke up around september of last year, but this cd is good, it takes a bit, nut it does grow on you after a while, although some of the songs can drag on forever and seem ot have no end. All in all i like this but i think Subteranneal Magnitude is better, and this album cannot hold a candle to Supreme Evil, in my opinion. But another high point is the inceadible new drummer i mean christ!, does this guy have an extra arm or something, the guy is flawless, and he doesn't use triggers either, i mean listen to his performance and if your jaw doesn't hit the floor then there is something wrong with you.

It's a shame that Diabolic broke up, i can only tell you from experiance that they are one of the most punishing live bands i've ever had the pleasure to witness and will remeber it as long as i live. This is a great final testament, so to speak of diabolics creative edge that had a stranglehold on the death metal world for quite some time.

R.I.P. diabolic, you will be missed"
Contender for best death of year

"the death metal bar just goes higher every year. aantar was a very good drummer, and even interesting in his one-dimensionality, but the new guy seems to be just the catalyst they needed. even contender with mithras's 2nd, vital remains 'dechristianize', and akercockes latest for death metal cd of the year. cant wait to hear deicides 'scars of the crucifix'."
