Product DescriptionMixed and Mastered from the original 4-track cassette tapes by Dharma Bums member Eric Lovre. Here's what he has to say about the album: 'These songs were recorded in 1987, the Dharma Bums' first year together as a band. I recorded it all on my late '70s TEAC 144 four-track cassette machine. We also had a 1960s Kustom six-channel mixer with built-in spring reverb, two Shure mics, one Radio Shack mic, and some sort of purple-colored delay pedal. And that was it! All the reverb and delay effects were cut to tape, and the vocals were cut with all of us singing into one mic onto one channel (in mono!). Drums and rhythm guitar were cut together on one track, with separate tracks for bass and lead guitar. After dragging the tapes around in an old suitcase for 22 years, I mixed these tracks in the summer of 2009.' This lost gem is from the band who released several albums on PopLlama and Frontier in the late 80s/early 90s.
