"Departure Lounge is known for composing beautiful mood music worthy of a melodramatic soundtrack but they deserve even more credit than that on this album. One song on this album, "Too Late to Die Young," is a masterpiece, a fully-realized musical composition that is tearful and suggests loss, resolution, and transcendence. The album, though strong as a whole, is worth getting for that one song. If you like Departure Lounge's lachyromose soundtrack-like musical compositions, you might also check out the following: Coastal, Bark Pyschosis, Epic 45, High Llamas, Sweet Trip, Color Filter, Brazzaville, and Craig Armstrong."
