CD ReviewsWhat's so crazy 'bout peace, love and slower jazzy numbers? Michelle Dawn | Jensen Beach, FL USA | 11/27/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "I have this one and it's one of my favorites; not just DMHO favorite but all time favorite. I have a very eclectic musical taste, pretty much like it all, but this is LOVE people. I enjoy their faster crazy-cool cd's, but sometimes you want some slower, jazzier tunes to fill your personal space and make your brain all hummy-snuggly with chocolate sauce and a cherry on top!
I really enjoyed the various instrumental solos (awesome!) and the more laid-back over all tone (and possibly the sound mix on the faster ones)which gives Denver's voice a better platform to be heard. I can really appreciate his subtle vocal intonations and his clear crisp presentation on most of these tracks. DMHO are a HUGE talent! As for their hep-cat version of the Star-Spangled Banner; I'm glad they did it, as glad as I am that Hendrix did his version :) " |
