"Fantastic, Fantastic, Fantastic album!!!!! I've listened to many music artists in my 40+ years but Denis Taaffe has provided an excellent guitar style with songs that can be "powerful" (Courage-CD Track 11) and dynamic as well as soft and "relaxing" (Cold-CD Track 12). Denis is a realitively unknown talent outside of his home state of Indiana. It is only a matter of time before his style and music become well known across the music industry and change that. I live in the Phoenix,AZ area and I've already contacted Denis in attempt to get him to perform in the "Valley Of Sun". Phoenix would love his music. I've had several friends listen to "Alien Guitar" and Denis's first album "Abducted By Aliens." They are extremely impressed by his music and talent. Keep the music coming Denis!!!!!"

"i was blown away when listening to the full range of guitarsounds on this CD. I mean I don't think I have ever heard guitar quite this way. What I thought were keyboard sounds ended up being guitar. In fact, I didn't even realize that it was done live and all one takes.I thought it would rock more, but instead it is an introspective album that is at the same time dark and atmospheric.I really think this is a new style of music created by one person.I can't think of another CD with this kind of guitar playing. On a few tracks he solo's and he has got to be the fastest guitarist I ever heard. But his solos are always part of the song. This style of his would work great in movie soundtracks.I am hooked. I want more of this kind of music, but can't think of another artist that has a similar sound. anyway, I am really impressed and especially liked Dilligence II, ESP and Song for Sinead. I do have to say that the CD is a litle long.If you like quality guitar, Get this CD and it may be breaking ground for a new style of music."

"What I mean is...Nightlights and Vision of the Night are my 2 favs. I really liked abduction but Alien G is 10 times better. ESP, Cold, etc. Very unique style. Im not juts reffering to his playing of all instruments alone, I mean the music itself. The 2 songs I initially mentioned are in my top 10 all time favorites of all songs. He is not very popular, but I hope he is popular enough to keep putting out these awesome CD's. His live CD is also very worthwhile. Great job Denis!!!"

"CD IS AWESOME, IN A WORD. DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW OTHER REVIEWER DOES NOT LIKE CD(WHICH ANYONE IS ENTITLED TO FEEL) BUT TO SAY OTHERS WERE PAID TO SAY IS PLAIN STUPID, ESPECIALLY WITH THIS CD. PUT IT TO YOU THIS WAY, ITS AN AWE INSPIRING AMERICAN MUSIC CD. MAY NOT BE WELL APPRECIATED IN A LAND IN CONSTANT STRIFE. LIKE MY TITLE WOULD INDICATE, ESPECIALLY LOVE "NIGHTLIGHTS" AND "VISION OF THE NIGHT". DENIS PLAYS ALL INSTRUMENTS AND IT BLENDS LIKE A STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE. SWEET AND SWEET!! CAN NOT WAIT FOR NEXT CD RELEASE."

"ON MY 1ST REVIEW, OF ABDUCTED BY ALIENS, I SAID FIRST SATRIANI, JOHNSON, VAI, NOW TAAFFE. WELL NOW IM SAYING FIRST SATRIANI, THEN TAAFFE. I REALLY LOVE THIS CD. IM NOT A GUITAR PLAYER, WHICH PROBABLY QUALIFIES ME MORE TO REVIEW THE FEEL OF THIS CD. I'VE BEEN A FAN SINCE HIS 1ST CD WAS RELEASED. I PURCHASED THIS ONE FROM AMAZON TOO, AND IT WAS WORTH THE PRICE AND THEN SOME. I WAS SOMEWHAT DISSAPOINTED TO FIND OUT DENIS CHANGED HIS STYLE. BUT, WE ALL KNOW CHANGE CAN BE HARD AND USUALLY LEADS TO BETTER THINGS. WELL, THIS IS BETTER, MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER. I ESPECIALLY LOVE "NIGHTLIGHTS" AND ALSO "VISION OF THE NIGHT" AND "FINAL", WHICH THIS CD BETTER NOT BE, OF DENIS. I ALSO BOUGHT HIS ONLINE MUSIC ON MP3.COM, THAT WAS WORTH IT TOO, ESPECIALLY "THEMES", BUT THIS CD IS A MASTERPEICE. I HAVE LISTENED TO IT OVER AND OVER. DENIS IS TO GUITAR INSTRUMENTAL WHAT STEVEN SPIELBERG IS TO MOVIES. YOU CAN PLAY THE DARN INSTRUMENT, BUT ITS NOT ANY GOOD IF YOU DONT DO IT WITH STYLE AND CREATIVE PASSION. DENIS HAS ALOT OF PASSION. THANKS DENIS!"
