"This is the classick mini album that occurred after Mark & Ant, tragically lost Gray & Lex after hellacious tours of Germany & mainland Europe. Touring, not to mention squatting in London with no electricity on a diet of alcohol & drugs, are known to cause bands to break up or band members to call it quits ... Mark was losing his grip, and going more & more insane by the countless dark nights. Sparky (Mark P) showed up on Ant's doorstep one day with Billy & Mike, their two future & quite successful guiatrists, inviting Ant to the studio Spark had booked that very day! Going into the studio with no songs, over 3 days they put their creativity to work & came out with 8 cleanly polished tracks. Demented classicks "One Sharpe Knife" & "Skitzoid Brain" came from this recording sesssion & on such short notice! Link Records released it with a mixed reception: good album, but not classic 'Demented'. This writer begs to differ. Billy & Mike were very creative additions to Spark's crew, contributing to the writing of several excellent Demented songs. Unfortunately, Mike got sacked, bringing Lex 'Lightning Lex Luther Wonder Boy' back into the picture. Billy eventually moved to live in America and Graham 'Gray, the Flying Vicar' returned on double 'slap' bass. 'Go Go Demented' is a collection of 10 live Demented tracks. Very lively & amusing, Demented's live shows are second to none. Spark's welsh accent is at it's best, not to mention it's great to hear his drunk screaming & ranting. Again, Sparky is best to be heard Live... Lex & Graham, guitar & double bass respectively, distinctly vibrate & echo, with such live, wild abandon. Not at their best, but definitely most classick. Ant's 'death beats' are most lively on this occasion also. Demented Are Go are so awesome Live! Don't miss this one!"
