CD ReviewsOh, What A CD! Joseph Panzarella | West Islip, New York | 01/23/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "Just one of my favorite groups of all time, this is the Dells at their best. Their 1968 rendition of "Oh, What A Night" shouldn't be compared to their 1956 version, two great versions in their own right. "Stay In My Corner" is a big favorite of mine, there are lots of doo wop ballads included on this disc too, if you know and like the Dells I don't think I'll have to persuade you to buy this one." Oh What A Great Album! F. Wells | Baton Rouge, LA | 06/08/2005 (4 out of 5 stars) "When I was in high school I was going through some rough periods in my life. I would come home and listen to Stay in My Corner, and other songs by The Dells, and I would feel lifted. Listening to The Dells really brought me through a dark period in my life, and encouraged me to go on. I listened to them on vinyl back then, but now I listen to their CD regularly along with my children. The Dells will forever be legends to me, and I'm proud of the way that they have remained close with one another, and are still friends." Stellar! SunnyOne | East Coast | 10/20/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "The title track (Oh What a Night, 1968 version) has it's special place on my list of all-time favorite songs, but my only copy was on vinyl. Looking to update that one track, I selected this CD on chance, and I couldn't be more pleased! It's proved to be a stellar collection of old favorites along with happy re-discoveries and new finds, all served up with a great sound quality that's often elusive on older tracks. This showcase of ballads never falls short in it's display of the brilliant spot-on harmony and lush vocals of The Dells."
