CD Reviews

A true classic - with a special gift
A big del Amitri fan... | Boston, MA USA | 08/03/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I've been a del Amitri fan since 1990, when a girlfriend introduced to me to "Kiss This Thing Goodbye." Well, I kissed her goodbye and kept the band...and have been thrilled ever since. I found this album at the Virgin Superstores in London and spent my last few pounds to buy it...and it was worth every penny. Why? Well, we can all make our own "best of" albums, but the live tracks that come with the bonus CD make this an excellent buy, regardless of the price. It is a rare chance to hear a band play in the classic Abbey Road studios...and have a great time doing it. If you have any interest in live music (and being a devotee of the Dead, I do), the live "extra tracks" are worth every penny. I would recommend this to everyone."
