The road to DEGRADEAD's fourth album 'The Monster Within' has been long and winding, taking them to such far away places as India and Russia, as well as several festivals including Wacken Open Air and on tours with bands like Satyricon, Sacred Reich and Overkill.
Degradead have previously received top reviews from all over the globe and over 50 radio stations in the U.S. airing their music on a constant basis. Some of their albums and songs also have charted in their native Sweden. Following up on this success, they released a DVD called 'Live at Wacken and Beyond' in 2012.
This year Degradead challenged themselves to create a new, somewhat different sound, and chose The Panic Room as studio with Thomas 'Plec' Johansson (Tiamat, Scar Symmetry) as the producer. First single (and video) from this album is 'For Better or Worse', released in late June.
