Synopsis

Product Description
Santa Cruz, CA's tech-death masters Decrepit Birth were formed in 2001 by Matt Sotelo on guitars, Bill Robinson on vocals and Derek Boyer on bass (Suffocation). Originally formed with the intention to play brutal technical death metal, mixed with influences from the early 1990's Florida death metal scene, the band has since evolved into a progressive yet crushing entity. The group has released two highly influential albums on Unique Leader Records, And Time Begins and Diminishing Between Worlds, while doing several high profile tours such as Summer Slaughter. After years in the underground as one of the genre's leaders, the band have created their Magnum Opus. Self-proclaimed as "death metal from the soul", vocalist Bill Robinson spews forth his heady spiritual and philosophical concepts while a barrage of dizzying riffs fill the speakers. The stellar production by Zack Ohren (All Shall Perish, Immolation), along with stunning artwork by cult artist Dan Seagrave (Morbid Angel, Entombed, etc.) make Polarity the yardstick by which all other releases in the genre should be judged.

"Ill keep it short but if you liked The last one but hated the production (like myself), this album is the s**t , and if you want ferocity like and time begins . . . well its still not that brutal but way more than the last, the technicality is way amped up then previous releases and it is the best production and epic as f**k , if you don't have this you better get it quick and if you haven't heard of the band start with this one !"
THis record is kinda awesome, man...

"Don't ask me anything about this band, because I know nothing about them.

Don't ask me what any of the songs are called, cuz I don't know the names.

Don't ask me why I'm writing this, cuz I'll just tell you it's because I'm drunk.

Just ask me if you should check this out, and I'll say..."yes."

The Death Metal Goose just laid another golden egg.

Happy Easter."
