Country Music Recovers from Coma

"After a steady stream of hat acts doing the same song over and over ad nauseam or the prepackaged shlock coming from major labels, you would think country music had died or was at least in a vegetative state. Dean Miller's new album reminds the world that country still lives. Every song could (and should) be a hit. This is the real deal. The album has great variety and yet stays true to country without a single cliche'. The writing is great, the sound is fantastic, and his performance leaves everything else out there in the dust. If you want the kind of album that will make you drive too fast, drink too much, and laugh as hard as you cry, buy "Platinum" now."

"I just bought the new cd from Dean Miller called Platinum. It is great! He has a kick ass bunch of musicians that are excellent. I'm glad he doesn't sound like his father( Roger Miller) as he is his own individual and should sing and write like it ( which he does). My son thinks he is too Country, but I
think his sound rocks! He even does one of his Father's songs on the cd, but he does it his way."

"I keep a copy of Dean's cover, "I've been a long time leavin'" around to send to vendors who displease me. I like his grittier version better than his dad's more whimsical approach.
