Dean Friedman' first two albums

"As a songwriter in the 70's Dean Friedman wrote clever, sentimental, philosopical and quirky lyrics to singable melodies and memborable hooks. He wrote about characters from, "Shopping Bag Ladies" to people meeting for the first time, "The Deli Song." He also had one hit, "Ariel." He textured his songs with strings, jazzy arrangements, piano, guitars and layered vocals. His songs ranged from jazz influence to folk and pop. Even though he did not reach critical and popular acclaim his songs would make you laugh, think and cry. His songs could be listened to multiple times without boring you."
Great cd one of a kind

"It is strange but there are a couple of keepers like SnM and the deli song. I love the way his voice cracks on KEY."
