"This album continues to blow me away with each repeated listening. Their debut album was a real rocker loaded with promise, but this album surpasses all of my expectations (which were pretty high). Drawing from the best periods of the Stones' and Dylan's careers (read "Exile" and "Highway 61") and filtering it through a modern garage/punk ethic. This album sounds classic to me already."

"These guys just keep getting better! Less obviously indebted to lo-fi garage rockers like The Gories & The Oblivians than on their first record, this one is a little more sophisticated and better-produced but no less wild. "SHIP AHOY! RIDE EM COWBOY!""
