"These remixes of "You Spin Me Round" are simply excellent! They have a great club-feel to them and are perfect cruising music as well as feelgood music. The other disc, "Sex Drive" is surprisingly really good too. I had bought this for the former track but was pleasantly satisfied by the latter track. These mixes sound somewhat alike but are subtle in differences. If you love the "You Spin Me Round" song then you'll love this product."
They really are still here!

"I cannot believe that this group is still around. Back in my teen years (early eighties) I found the band 'Nighmares in Wax' who later turned into 'Dead or Alive', I brought every release up until the Album 'Nude' and then never heard from them again as I had lived and worked abroad.Since visiting Amazon I have found that the band are much more Alive than Dead and have invested in new CD formats of their stuff!, this remixed version of YSMR has brought back a lot of happy memories from my teen days.I await eagerly for my delivery of Dead or Alive's 'Fragile'and older material which i ordered yesterday from Amazon."

"There's far too much moaning about how DOA have remixed several titles to death! Oh, it IS so very true, my dears.BUT, let's not forget that DOA are signed to a whole list of record companies, each in different countries -- and these companies, what do THEY want? Money. It's no surprise Cleopatra (DOA's US label) are no different -- they want to cash in on these very popular songs, as well.As far as new material, don't worry -- rumors abound that a new album called "Sayonara,Sugarpie" is in the can (for release in Japan, first, from what I understand) and from Pete's own mouth came the news that DOA plan to re-record most of their singles (including the ones from the early days -- as in 1981 early -- I heard it with my ears on a French interview) and release them as a Greatest Hits package. More to moan about? Ah, well...Bottom line? Be paitient. Meanwhile, buy this and drive those around you mental with all 700 mixes of YSMR.Cheers!"
Mmm...Euro-trash at its best...

"That said...this two disc remix version of "You Spin Me Round" and "Sex Drive" is undeniably European flavored. Sexual themes run rampant in both of these songs (like, duh!), but it really doesn't detract from these songs. Unless you giggle at the word sex or the mere thought of it. After listening to this EP for the umptenth kazillionth time...I can't help but think of the German dance Group E-Rotic. I prefer to listen to the Euro stylings of E-Rotic, however, I am pleasantly surprised by Dead Or Alive. Some critics claim that these remixes sound alike...but they are of the same song! Well, two songs, so what do you expect!? Of course some things are alike, but I found many differences in the mixes...maybe you should listen a bit closer? I thought Dead Or Alive went out with the 80's...guess I was wrong. If you hate "Disco-tastic" songs, weird lyrics, or music in general, you won't like this EP...everyone else should five it a try."
I was expecting something new from the group!!!!!!!

"DOA has been draging these songs since 1994. I think it istime to sit down in the studio and record some new songs. I love DOAbut I'm tired of listenig to the same remixes every time I buy a new cd. Pete is really talented and I don't understand why he can't put his talent in motion."
