"This cd is only meant for the true "Worshipper's". That is why this cd is not getting the complements that it is do. Everyone is making more of an up beat cd with very few worship songs. But "Worship" or the "Inner Court" is where you find that one on one relationship. As a musician, and praise and worship leader I find this cd' awesome for the ultimate praise and worship experience. I truly appreciate the song "I Life My Hands". This song is truely a blessing. Just listen to the words and before you know it you will be in the "Inner Court". Be Blessed!!"
What an awesome cd!

"Had I not heard this song while driving my car, I don't think I would have ever encountered this WONDERFUL cd! Thank goodness for Sirius radio!! I live in a state where there are no nearby gospel stations that I can listen to while driving so it's a treat to play catch-up from over a year of being without a gospel show here in MA. But I have to say, encountering Dwayne Woods' album was a treat to the ears! I fell in love with LET GO the first time I heard it last month. The lyrics are very personal, honest and fortunately for me less than half of the musical arrangements are not treated like grand broadway-like show tunes--big brassy instrumentation, loud-louder-screaming chorals drowning out the lead vocalist. (I'm a fan of swelling choruses but good lord not on every song for an entire album!) Unlike some of the top albums out there, many of Mr. Woods songs encourage self-introspection and personal evaluation. And the fact that he shares his HIV-free testimony before a live audience alone will cause one to buy the album. A few of the many that I enjoy are MADE A WAY, GOD STILL HEALS, I WANNA BE WHERE YOU ARE and I LIFT MY HANDS. Great songs for a praise and worship service in my opinion. It's unusual but I like EVERY song on this album. This is a GREAT mix of live and recorded songs. I can't even imagine how the studio made the decision to select what song to put on this album for release because they are ALL good. Wood even pays homage to one of his gospel idols, Walter Hawkins by briefly incorporating the original GOD IS melody in his live version. You gotta love young talents like Dwayne who mix the old and the new AND are able to stamp out their own vocal styling and arrangements. Can't wait to see this brother live--it won't be in Massachusetts though so I'll have to settle for the next cd. Until then, I'm enjoying this one--IMMENSELY! Thanks brother Dwayne, keep up the great work! With songs and testimonies like these you'll be around to bless folks with your music for years to come."

"I have been so ministered to by this young man's cd. Songs birthed out of a real process!!!!! Let Go, Let God reached a place in me that few have ever reached. I want to encourage him to just obey God. Man will have plenty of opinions, good and bad but all I can say is thank you and Well Done!!! I have been truly blessed because I too understand a real process and waiting on my breakthrough. Thank you."

"When I got this cd I didn't know what to expect and to my surprise it is one of the best cd's i've heard in a long time. I congratulate Dewayne Woods on his 1st cd. I personally get tired to listening to fast fast fast. DeWayne's cd offers something I've haven't heard in a long time, so thank you. If you want something different than the standard stuff that is played today, try this cd you won't be disappointed."

"When I first heard Let Go and Let God on the radio it spoke to me. God knew just what I needed at that moment. I fell in love with it. Last week I got a chance to see Dewayne Woods perform at my church. It was powerful to be in his presence and to hear his testimony. Of course live will always sound better for any artist. But if we can get past the surface and allow the words of the songs to penetrate our hearts we will never be the same. I think Dewayne did a fabulous job for a first cd. I love the song God is as well. I brought the CD and I am encouraging others to do the same. I know the next will only get better."
