Three genuine rarities

"Like most "Best of" collections, this one should rather be entitled "A Representative Selection of". It's not that the tracks are bad, but there are others that have a far better claim to inclusion.
This compilation does have one unique distinction, however: it contains three tracks from the band's second album, Selected Jigs Reels and Songs, which has never been issued on CD, and as I understand never will be, because the master tapes have been lost!
I transferred my LP to CD long ago; but unless you can do the same, or if you want CD audio quality, then the only way you can get these tracks is to buy the present album!
The tracks concerned are:
The Flowers of Spring/Jackie Small's Jig
The Banks of the Quay/Crucaharan Cross
O'Carolan's Draught
The last-named in particular really does belong on a "Best of"."
