Straight ahead Scofield?

"I've only heard one track off this CD (On the Trail), and I looked it up to find out who the guitar player was. I was surprised to find out it was John Scofield - instead of his usual slightly distorted tone and angular lines, he was getting a very traditional jazz tone, and smoother lines. Deeper into the solo you could start to hear some "scofieldisms", which sounded interestingly different w/o the distortion. Oh yeah, the sax player was good too ;^)

I'll definitely get this CD just to hear Scofield in a different setting."
