Product DescriptionDenmark's Dawn of Demise has had a busy year. In January their debut album, Hate Takes Its Form was released on Deepsend Records to rave reviews throughout metal press. Then the band won a Danish Metal Award for Best Live Danish Metal Band over Hatesphere, Mercenary and Volbeat. The band followed this with performances with Hatesphere Suffocation and a dream performance with Carcass at this year's Danish Metal Awards, the band is once again a nominee. In May the band hauled up in their practice space and once again recorded their newest material themselves, a blistering EP entitled Lacerated. In June the band journeyed to the renowned studio of Jacob Hansen (Hatesphere, Mercenary, Volbeat) mix and master the new material as he did with Hate Takes Its Form. Two new songs ("Extinction Seems Imminent" and "Ridden With Disgust") of floor stomping, neck snapping, annihilating Danish death metal. The new songs display the fastest and slowest moments of the band's history thus far. The faster moments allowing drummer Kim Jensen to really let loose and expand on the band's sound. The slower aspects portray an almost Crowbar punch to them with their crushing low-end. No doubt this is Dawn of Demise at their best and a perhaps a glimpse of what's to come with future material. Also included are three cover songs of metal classics; Suffocation "Infecting the Crypt", At The Gates "Blinded by Fear" and Obituary "Turned Inside Out" and videos for "Hate Takes Its Form" and "Extinction Seems Imminent".
