"In a time where television audiences are inundated with "reality" television shows, for me, _The Mole_ shines through as the absolute best. It challenges the viewer to think and almost play along with the contestants, not just sit and watch like all others do. While being a show about intrigue, _The Mole_ is able to also show the qualities of a human that are what makes us truly human. It shows compassion, cooperation, joy, and playfulness, just to name a few. It has even shown that no matter what possion one is in, one still can feel vulnerable. The music is a wonderful coloring to the content of the show. There are playful songs ("Dirty Laundry" and "751 Sheep," for example). There are tense songs ("Cornfield Maze" and "The Fortress" among others). All the music is fully thought out by the composer to do its intended job. Many people who appreciate and understand music know that music's job is to rally one's emotions, and this soundtrack does that.I've been going through some really harsh spots of depression the past several years; however, _The Mole_ and the music accompaning it have been one of the few bright spots that have helped to keep me going. So, I definitely recommend this soundtrack to everyone who's watched the show and enjoyed it."

"Released September of this year, David Michael Frank's score for the television series "The Mole", original in everyway with shades of Henry Mancini blending in and out of various cues...this has a nice touch, need more composers to follow the lead of "Our Man In Hollywood"(Mancini), never to be forgotten for his contribution to the Big and Small screens of this Music and Entertainment Industry. Now, let's get to the stand outs ~ "DIRTY LAUNDRY"..."CORNFIELD MAZE"..."THE EXECUTION"..."751 SHEEP", give this score grit, with counter-balance of the existing cues...this is a keeper for "film-score-buffs" to savor in the weeks and months to enjoy. As usual, thanks to Robert Townson (executive producer) for giving this his full attention for quality that always prevails, also outstanding orchestration by William Motzing, puts the topping on this wonderful desert...looking forward to more from ~ DAVID MICHAEL FRANK!Total Time: 75:11 on 27 Tracks ~ Varese Sarabande 302-066-287-2 ~ (2001)"

"I LOVE this CD! I popped it in as soon as I got it, and loved it right away! I am a definite fan of reality tv, and the mole is one of my top favorites. This CD brings back all the memories, and is very exciting to listen to. The only reason I could see anyone giving this four stars or less, instead of 5, is that they don't have the Quiz music on it. Other than that, it is GREAT!!!"

"David Michael Frank did an amazing job on The Mole Soundtrack. Any true fan of The Mole absolutly must have it! In fact, it is better than many scores to major motion pictures. The music actually sets a mood while you listen to it, and while it plays in the background as competitors of the show compete against one another, it adds drama, intrigue and suspense. If you don't believe me, tape an episode of The Mole, mute the sound and watch it. Just like a major motion picture, without the music, the presentation isn't nearly as entertaining or gripping. I certainly recommend anyone who enjoys the show to purchase the CD and enjoy hours of the music that help to make The Mole the best reality show on television."
Outstanding soundtrack for an outstanding show!

"I've thoroughly enjoyed both seasons of The Mole. It's by far the classiest and most intelligent program on television today, and compared to all other reality-tv shows, it's in a league of its own. The soundtrack is truly indicative of the quality of this show. A hearty high-five to David Michael Frank for composing some absolutely brilliant music, which fits the show like a glove (quite an achievement in this day and age!). The selections really capture the feel of The Mole, running the gamut from the Mission Impossible/James Bond inspired music during the more action-packed missions and challenges, to the more playful numbers featured during the show's more lighthearted and amusing moments, and the poignant music during the reunions and the sad farewells; it's all there! The CD floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee. Until the show's episodes are released on DVD, this soundtrack CD should be enough to tide all Mole fans over... you won't be disappointed!BRING ON MOLE 3!!!"
