"David Broza has a number of disks available (if you know where to look) - some in Hebrew, Spanish or English. All are pretty good. None of them captures the intensity or talent as his live performances. This is a collection (he has a few of these also) that contains some of his recordings in English. They are the stand-out cuts from 'David Broza', 'Time of Trains' and 'Stone Doors'. The only downside is no representation for the Hebrew songs. If you ever have a chance - listen to them - or better yet, catch him live. His singing, but especially his guitar work is exemplary. He is an overlooked talent in the U.S."
Broza is incredible!

"Broza's guitar playing is amazing ! He combines the best of several cultures and creates a new, strong, vibrant sound. I have this album and love it! I was thinking that it's past time for Broza to release another English language album, but then I found out he has been recovering from a very serious car accident in August 1998. I wish David a speed recovery and, selfishly, hope he can soon return to giving us his magical performances!!"
He's great in hebrew

"David Broza epitomizes the total musician. His music is flavored with classical and flamenco guitar with rock and R&B rhythms. And don't forget the ballads. Always a pleasurable listening experience."
Powerful vocals and believable stories

"I gave this 4 stars simply for the first three songs on the cd. Those alone are worth the price. I first heard "when a man holds a woman" on the local public radio and knew I had to have a copy of this. Goosebumps, on an 85 ford pick-up stock radio. I woke the neighbors when i got home with the cd. Times of trains is a moving and powerful love song that will last for decades in my mind yet it is not so sappy that my brain will go to mush. If you enjoy the other songs on the cd that is an extra bonus, I do, but after listening to the first three you will understand how they would be hard for anyone to top"
