"What can one say about David Broza and the enormity of his talent. The man has been a superstar in his native Israel for the past twenty years, and is basically unknown here in the states. Ok, most of his albums are in Hebrew, but he lived in New Jersey for almost all of the Nineties and had 5 English albums. To say that his guitar work and musicianship is incendiary would be an understatement. He draws you into his music and at the end you are totally exhausted, but very well satisfied. Imagine the most rhythmic of acoustic Flamenco guitars lavishly given a good dose of folk, rock, and blues. Then take lyrics - whether in Hebrew, English or Spanish - that come from snippets of poetry or collaborations with some of the best lyricists/poets in the business, and you have "pop" music with a definite brain. Broza's voice is quite versatile and beautiful - once again enticing you to come into his music. Don't be turned away if you do not understand the Hebrew words, sit back and allow yourself to be swept away. These are some of his prime gems! Then seek out his other works - you will not be sorry. Why he is such a well kept secret here boggles my mind, but let's not allow this to be any longer. Highly recommended artist and collection."
